School Supply List

Miss Larson’s Kindergarten

2011-2012

 

Your child will need the following items marked with his/her first name in permanent marker:

*    1 School Supply Box (“Space Saver” style- the small rectangular one…not the one with a handle)  8 inches wide, 5” long, 2 ½ “ deep

 

*    1 Box of Fat Crayola Washable Markers(Classic Colors please) Washable very important

 

*    1 Box of Thin Crayola Washable Markers (Classic Colors please)  Washable very important

 

*    1 Box of Crayons (no more than 16)

 

*    1 Bottle of Elmer’s Glue (4 ounces please…Elmer’s brand…no blue gel…no “No Run” type)

 

*    1 Pair of Fiskars brand scissors…blunt end

 

*    1 Smock (old shirt please…put name inside collar and cut sleeves short like a t shirt)

 

*    1 Extra Set of Clothes (in case of spills or accidents…should include socks, underwear,  pants and shirt or dress…does not have to be uniform.  Will need to be changed with the seasons.  Please put in a plastic shoebox with your child’s name on both ends).

 

*    1 Pocket Folder (should have pockets across the bottom, not up the sides)

 

*    1 Backpack

 

*    The following items do NOT need to be marked with your child’s name:

 

*    6 rolls of scotch tape…clear kind…not for a desktop dispenser…red plaid Scotch brand please

 

*    2 rolls masking tape

 

*    2 containers of Wet Ones…Wet Ones brand please

 

*    1 lunchbox to fit in a cubby that  measures 8 ¾ inches by 5 ¾ inches

 

*    1 box of envelopes to keep at home and use for correspondence to school…menus, notes, etc.

 

*    Headphones for media lab…can be bought at any dept. or office store…do not have to be expensive.  Name on headphones…unwrapped and in a large Ziploc bag also with a name on it.

 

Please do not forget to mark each individual marker and crayon.  We in kindergarten are always dropping things and it is extremely necessary to have everything marked!!  Use first names please.
